Wines
With production of about 300,000 hectoliters the Friuli Grave DOC zone occupies first place among the regional DOCs with more than 50% of the output.
In the Grave, as in the whole of Friuli's viticultural sector, wines bear the names of the varieties from which they are made.
Wines made from white varieties are fresh, fruity and elegant; the reds are harmonious, full-bodied and odorous when young and full and structured if aged.
