The Consorzio per la Tutela dei Vini DOC Friuli Grave (Consortium for the Oversight of the Friuli Grave DOC Wines), founded in 1972, has as its objective the promotion of awareness of the territory as well as the valorization of its wines.
The successes of recent years were the result of various factors: the functionality of new installations, modern techniques of cultivation, the selection of varieties best adapted to the environment and above all the farsightedness of the producers. Having correctly interpreted the spirit of the appellation, they opted principally for quality and valorized their production, thereby contributing to the spread of the wines' outstanding reputation.
